Our lush Kentucky Bluegrass practice tee provides the perfect place to warm up for your game or settle into a practice session to work on your swing. A lush forest of trees beautifully frames our primary practice area providing a relaxing and peaceful place to work on your game. The practice tee has five target greens to test your accuracy, while also providing different views to create targets and fairways to sharpen your tee shots. Our vast teeing ground offers enough room for up to 35 golfers while allowing for full grass recovery and excellent turf conditions. St. Charles uses Titleist NXT golf balls, replenished at the start of each season, at its practice facility.
Our TrackMan range will be one of the first in the country and provides swing and golf ball data directly to the individual player. The concept will take St. Charles' practice facility, already one of the best in Canada, to another level entirely. Members will be able to have every ball they hit on the range tracked through their practice sessions. You can also play games against one another and compete.
Short Game Area
The short game area, located a few steps from our first tee, is the ultimate place to learn to score. One hundred and twenty yards long, and host to three separate practice greens and three large bunkers, the short game area provides members with the option to practice hundreds for shot types to prepare for the course. The short game area uses Titleist Pro V1 golf balls to provide golfers with the same feel, spin and reaction on the greens that they will experience on the course.
Our magnificent putting green is surround by our first tees and sits in front of our clubhouse and pro shop. This practice area had two distinct sides, one having sharper undulation and break, while the other having gentle slopes to practice subtle breaks. At 14,000 square feet, our putting green has plenty of space to allow golfers to use their imagination and improve their putting.
