Associate Professional & Backshop Manager
Jeremy first picked up a golf club at the age of 7, but truly fell in love with the game of golf at the age of 13. Born and raised in scenic Prince Edward Island, he spent his East Coast summers playing twice a day and quickly became a good amateur player. While completing the Professional Golf Management Program at Holland College (PEI), Jeremy turned Professional and spent 2 seasons as an Assistant Professional at his home track, Summerside Golf & Country Club. After graduating in early 2017, Jeremy made the move out to Winnipeg and has made St. Charles Country Club his home since.
Over the past 5 seasons, Jeremy has spent countless hours learning about the golf industry, working on his game and developing in to a promising instructor and club fitter. Having spent time with Scott Cowx, David Orr, Mark Evershed, Paul Dewland and also becoming a TPI Certified Professional, Jeremy hopes to help any member achieve their golfing goals. He is also a certified Club Fitter for Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, PING and Cobra; as well as a Certified Instructor with Foresight Sports Launch Monitors, Swing Catalyst and BodiTrak. In 2021, Jeremy was awarded the PGA of Manitoba’s Class A Professional of the Year and was a finalist for the 2021 PGA of Canada Stan Leonard Award.
Through a love for the Club, Jeremy has truly made St. Charles his new home – many people believe that he sleeps here – and is always eager to interact with each member and hopefully play 18 holes with them. Look for him on the Teaching Tee or the 1st Tee!
