Guest Policies

All guests, including spouses of members, must be accompanied by a member. Members will be held responsible for the conduct of their guests and for all indebtedness incurred by them.

Dress Code: Clubhouse & Garden

Men & Boys

Smart casual dress with a collared shirt, designer/fashion t-shirts without a collar (must have sleeves), golf attire conforming to golf course dress code. Blue denim/jeans to the St. Charles Standard. Sandals are permitted. Hoodies may only have logo that is golf brand specific and made of performance fabric.

Prohibited Attire:
Cargo pants/shorts, jeans with rips, athletic wear, casual t-shirts, and beach wear. Metal spikes, golf sandals unless approved for medical reasons. Golf Shoes are not permitted on the main floor of the clubhouse. 

Women & Girls

Contemporary and fashionable attire. Golf attire conforming to golf course dress code. Blue denim/jeans to the standard of St. Charles. Sandals are permitted.

Prohibited Attire:
Leggings/yoga pants worn on their own, jeans with rips, sweats, athletic wear, jogging suits, cargo pants/shorts, casual t-shirts, halter tops, beachwear. Golf Shoes are not permitted on the main floor of the clubhouse. Dress code applies when setting up or preparing for an event.

Special Events

Smart Casual or Business Casual to the St. Charles Standard unless otherwise stated.

Hats/Visors

Hats and visors are not to be worn in the Clubhouse.

Hoodies/Crewnecks

Hoodies/crewnecks made of cotton sweatshirt fabric are not permitted. Hoodies may only have logos that are golf brand specific and made of performance fabric. Hoodies should be to a St. Charles standard. 

Event Set Up

Dress code applies when setting up or preparing for an event.

Dress Code: Course & Practice

Men/Boys

Golf shirts with collar & sleeves, mock necks taut to the neck with distinct collar. Shirts must be worn tucked unless designed to be untucked and conservative length below the belt. The club kindly requests that all non-golf and corporate logos be presented in a discreet manner to a St. Charles Standard. 

Golf shorts no higher than 4 inches from top of knee cap. Golf joggers permitted. Cargo shorts/pants are not permitted. 

Sweaters, rainwear & golf specific outerwear. 

Hats to be worn with bill forward at all times. Hats and sun hats should be golf specific. Baseball caps and caps with non-golf logos are discouraged.

Tailored bottoms with pockets closely sewn to the garment. Tailored shorts, skirts, and golf dresses no shorter than mid-thigh. Leggings may be worn under a skort or golf dress. Golf joggers permitted. 

Golf hats are always to be worn with bill forward. Sun Hats. Baseball caps and caps with non-golf logos are discouraged.

All members have the right to dress in a manner consistent with their gender identity or gender expression. Individuals identifying as non-binary have the right to dress in a manner consistent with any of the acceptable attire listed above.
